GM doesn't manufacture tires, so the problem with your tires doesn't fall upon them. The radiator is a problem for GM.
Actually the bulletin is about how GM allowed the tires to sit too long and caused procurement. It causes a slit in the tires and belt to break and yes this happened to me and GM claimed liability.

I just had the outlet housing sensor replaced 6 weeks ago due to the engine light coming on and getting the steering assist reduced showing up on the dash. I started smelling antifreeze after getting it back from the dealership so I took it in this morning to have it checked out and was told the radiator is leaking at the tank seam and now needs replaced. Love this Blazer but not so sure so sure about it anymore with issues starting at 50,000 miles.

If your coolant level is low enough, the water pump may not be getting enough coolant to turn the pump properly. That in itself can be an issue because the belt that turns the pulleys to those components, the power steering pump included, can be affected. The power assist may have thrown a code because the water pump faulted due to a lack of fluid. Keep in mind, although you've added coolant off and on, the whole system operates in a pressure cooker, so any drop in pressure due to the slow coolant leak can cause the ECM to throw a code. The code may not mean a catastrophic event took place, but it does mean that something is happening and become aware.
This happened with my 2019 Chevy Blazer. Low coolant caused a bunch of weird alarms to come in. Had to have the radiator replaced. I can still smell antifreeze though so I don't think it is 100%. I love this car but that and some other issues I'm having, I won't buy another.

Well I just want to say. I agree. Chevy/GE has left a real bad taste in my mouth. I will not be purchasing another. Purchased a 2019 chevy Blazer 2/5/2021. Feb of 2022 starter went out. March of 2023 starter went out. 2wks ago I see coolant in my garage. Called chevy for them to say bring it in. Diagnostic charge. I said let me wait an see. That was the 1st leak ever. Then the following week it started again. I take to 3rd party they say it's a manufacture defect. Leaking thru crimps of the radiator.

I’m so disappointed and I have the same problem and same exact blazer

It’s absolutely ridiculous to buy a brand new car so that you hope you don’t have issues lol then turn around and have so many problems. On top of this, we just had the exhaust camshaft solenoid on the B side of the engine replaced due to engine light. It was barely in warranty and they fixed it under warranty, however they threatened that if they found sludge on the sensor that I would be charged for the work. I understand that people out there may neglect their cars but when you have a paper trail of oil changes and service and still get told you may end up paying, it just puts a bad taste in our mouths.
On top of all this, we’re still dealing with a leaking radiator and power assist warnings. Not everyone can afford to replace a faulty defect from the manufacturer….I appreciate everyone’s comments on this thread.

I would advise you to read your extended warranty and be sure you "know" what's covered. "Everything" is not covered and every underwriter's warranty covers different things. It doesn't matter if it's GM, or an aftermarket underwriter, all things are absolutely not covered. I speak with knowledge because I used to sell extended service contracts, VSCs, to Dealers for 30 years. Our company was an admin obligor and we adjudicated the claim for one of the largest aftermarket companies in the US. I would encourage you to read your warranty and familiarize yourself with the Exclusionary portion of your warranty. It defines the parts/items that are not covered. It doesn't matter what your salesperson said to you in the sale, read your warranty so you're not surprised when you have a claim and they don't cover it. You will need to provide proof that you had all your service maintenance intervals performed according to manufacturer recommendations or they will deny the claim. The first line of defense on any given warranty is to protect the underwriter. I'm not saying these types of warranties don't work, but all warranties are not equal in coverage.

Thank you for your Concern, I have read it fully so has my father, brother in-law. I do my home work before purchasing anything. I'm not worried about proving maintenance either as too I always get my blazer serviced at the same dealership I got her at. I have copies of everything and so do have it on computer.
Like I said thank you for making sure sure I understand the warranties I have pursued. I a sure you I do. I'll be 50 soon and this is the second time I have purchased warranties. Good advise though 👍😊

They told me mine was the thermostat covered under power terrain but I was loosing rad fluid and they seemed to have no idea until the engine light finally came on

We have a 2019 Blazer RS and ours is in now for a radiator leak. Having to replace the radiator. We love the Blazer, but between the tires that wear so quickly( on our third set) and now the radiator, I’m a bit disappointed.
My 2021 Blazer needed at new radiator at 52,00 miles. Fortunately for me GM paid 2/3 of the cost after I contacted customer service. Wasn't totally what I wanted, but I'll take anything. Now I'm sorry I didn't get a extended warranty!

Our 2021 Blazer has 22k on it and the radiator is leaking and thew dealership is replacing.,.... Thankfully under warranty. Not getting a warm and fuzzy from the posts here and hope the problem doesn't come back... Not happy about them taking it apart to the extent needed for this either.

I’ve got a 2021 blazer and just out of warranty and they said it’s a maintenance issue. They want me to pay $1500 for it. I’ve been calling customer service a while now and asking for a goodwill adjustment. You need to do that as well.

I have 2020 Blazer with 50,300 miles. Bought it used with 22,000 miles in Feb 2022, took it in to dealer for warranty work, in Nov. 2022 for something else than radiator, but they found that radiator was leaking, and replaced it under warranty. Now having the Steering assist, AC and Temp gauge pegged at C issue. Took it in to a different Chevy dealership where I live now, fixing Thermostat under powertrain warranty, but found radiator is leaking, $2,000 to replace that. Called GM and said, just had this replaced in Nov. 2022, parts have 1-year warranty. They worked with dealership and I am paying $900 for radiator. 3 radiators in 2.5 years of owing Blazer.
