It appears that GM and Chevy have heard our prayers and we'll be able to disable the automatic engine stop-start!

According to gmauthority.com:

According to exclusive information uncovered by GM Authority, the 2020 Chevrolet Blazer will gain a stop-start system override engine control. Coincidentally, the same holds true for the 2020 GMC Acadia and 2020 Cadillac XT5. That sound you hear is a collective sigh of relief among those who really like the Blazer, but detest being forced into having the fuel-saving feature always enabled on the mid-size crossover.
How excited is everyone for this news?? I'm definitely one of those people letting out a HUGE sigh of relief.

Good luck getting it retrofitted to a 2019...
Yeah that will be the most interesting thing to see that's for sure, hopefully GM makes this possible for 2019 Blazers and that it isn't ridiculously complicated to get done.
I am very excited. My only fear is they’re introducing new colors which means some will be discontinued. Fingers crossed that Kinetic Blue stays around one more year.
@SmithR you are 4 months too late, @1Baddfed$ already has a thread on this: Start Stop disable?
I don't know how on earth I missed that thread, sorry about that!
