Congrats, and it looks so pretty!

If you can swing having PPF put on the hood, you should consider it. I took my car to have PPF put on the front bumper, ABC pillars, and rocker panels. We discovered that there was already a small chip on the hood.

I didn't even have 200 miles on it at the time and had done very little highway driving, so how it happened is beyond me. Anyway, I just got back today from having PPF put on the hood, too. AND...it now has a ceramic coating. I've spend a small fortune on the back end of this purchase trying to protect the paint. I will tell you this--these have the thinnest paint I've ever seen. As I was looking the car over just now, I found a tiny place right above a rocker panel on the smoked chrome that runs along it where the "smoked chrome" paint has come off. It has probably been there the whole time, and I have never noticed it, but still... Depending on how this vehicle holds up mechanically and cosmetically, this may be my last Chevrolet purchase.
