If you can share a few things about your ownership of the 2019+ Chevy Blazer, what would it be? The most liked or hated, share them with every one I am sure you won't be the only one.

I'm very happy with my 2019 purchase and the thing I love the most is the ride. Much smoother than I would have expected. Nothing to hate but the front camera has me somewhat baffled. It seems to have a mind of its own. My understanding is when I put it in drive it should stay on until I reach 7 mph. Sometimes it does but other times it comes on and then goes off in a second or 2 and certainly before I reach 7 mph. Still trying to get a handle on that.

This is a much nicer vehicle than some give it credit for. V6 had plenty of power and very luxurious. Bit on the expensive side if you go with the RS or Premium and AWD but not really out of the line with the pricing of the competitor vehicles.

The lane keep assist annoys me at times. I find that living in IL you have to do a little swerving to avoid all the pot holes and damaged roads to save your tires and suspension and the feel of the steering wheel pulling back is not fun. I find that I turn that off most times when I drive. I have been tempted to permanently turn it off in the settings but kind of like that it is there for safety reasons. The tilt mirrors are moody and sometimes they do not return back to the position you had them in before you were in reverse. Other than that I really am happy with my purchase.

Not an owner yet but from test drives, nothing from Chevy gets sportier than this for the price.
A key selling point for me.
I like the size, big enough but not too big. Good ride, Bose sound is great, the infotainment works well. The performance of the V6 with the 9 speed has been flawless.

The new Chevy Blazer is CRAP... according to a well known automotive mechanic on youtube with 50+ years of experience. If you guessed Scotty Kilmer, you're right. His points that highlight what's happening on the backed of the Blazer's development are valid. Still, i'll wait to see how it holds up over the years.

Well that didn't say much other than he didn't like the old blazers and he does not like this one solely because it is assembled in Mexico.

I hate the upper door panels, I need a soft leather for my arm. Also 13,000 miles in I have an RS and the front lower bumper is completely messed up from road debris , they either need to use better paint or add more layers or use something other than gloss black paint for it.
I hate the HVAC. In manual mode when using first thing out of the garage in a New England winter, you get either full high heat or nothing the first half hour of driving. And when just checking the rest of the system function, like trying max AC, it takes five minutes to get cold air. Going in for the update to see if it helps. Can’t give it up for an overnight stay because a loaner won’t get up my icy steep driveway.
All the driver mode functions are actually functional. Although I can’t manually shift into first when cold. Again for the first half hour or so of driving. Bizarre.
I ABSOLUTELY HATE detailing my Blazer. I actually have to "care" when I wash it and treat it like the queen it isn't. Why would some want to take almost a full day cleaning all that real estate. It's absolutely exhausting.....and to think I have to do this between rains? Why for the love of everything in gods green earth did I buy a brand new car!! :cautious:

On the bright side, my 2.5L performed flawless towing the kayaks, gocarts and mini-bikes around this weekend. Narry a problem nor a hesitation when pulling. The sorta bad is being able to actually see said trailer behind that big wide butt of our Blazers. All I could see was the top of the handle bars of the mini bikes and the top of the gocart seat. :ROFLMAO:

Kayaks were obviously easy to see behind while towing. (y)
I don't like the cheap looking hard plastic GM used for the interior. Also, I pulled down the rear seat central armrest today and saw this:

What is this ugly thing behind the cup holders? Is it there by design, or is something wrong?

That ugly thing folds back and snaps into the horizontal plastic strip so that it covers up the hinge guides.

Thanks! I sort of figured it out myself but I couldn't snap it back, so I took the car to the dealership and they fixed that.

Expect it to pop out again if the divider is used on a regular basis, but it's no big deal.

Forewarned is forearmed. I won't let anyone pull it ;)
