I really like my 2019 Blazer RS but after driving it for over a year now I wish there were some options on the higher level trims that are not there for the price that the Blazer Cost, Here are a few things I think would have been nice to have.
One option that is at the top of my list is a HUD. I really love this feature on my 2011 Camaro SS and feel that the RS and Premium trims should have had this to complete the Camaro inspired styling.
Another option is front parking assist. Honestly I do not know why this is not already there. There are front sensors and a camera for the brake assist, lane keep sensors, and driving distance sensors.
Related to front parking assist would be rear brake assist for the same reasons. The sensors are there.
Wireless CarPlay/Android Auto. While I almost always plug my phone in via USB it would have been nice to have this option since rumors hint at near future phones getting rid of the charge/sync port.
Are there any options you wish your Blazer had? Any you would have left out? One option I do not care for is the camera rear-view mirror. I never use it as it hurts my eyes to look at. I think I used it once when I had cargo in the back and the window was blocked.
Hi, can you please tell me how to install a new android stereo, all connected, installation is simple, but I dont know how install the rearview camera? What kind of camera to choose? how to connect it? Link to the unit, I'll leave, I hope I'm not blocked for this, I have no experience in the similar can you look at its characteristics and help me. Thank you very much!
Two things that I've already wished I had on my Blazer on more than one occasion. The first being an interior release latch to open the rear liftgate for models without the power liftgate option. I personally enjoy having the manual liftgate and can open/close it faster than that button can any day of the week. Not to mention to awkward placement of it on the drivers door panel, effectively making that water bottle holder less useful. An interior release latch would be nice for when getting things curbside and people don't know that the release latch is lower than usual on these vehicles. Its not a make-or-break, im just being nit-picky since I don't want people accidentally rubbing their fingers all over my backup camera every time they try to open the liftgate.
The second item being the front seats. If GM is going to market this car as the Camaro SUV and place such a large emphasis on the "sport" in SUV, then give it sportier front seats that actually hold you in place when cornering. I am sliding all over my seat whenever making tight turns because the seats just have no bolstering support whatsoever. A new toyota corolla has better seats with good bolstering support and comfort at the same time. Since the Blazer takes a lot of it cues from the Camaro, I don't imagine it would be difficult for them to mimic the seats that are found in the Camaro and place them in this vehicle as well.
Here are a few I can think of. I have an RS with all the options and it’s very well equipped, but there are a few things I would expect to see at this price point.
Rain sensing wipers, brake hold, front park sensors, better quality leather, better sound system option, full LED signal and brakes lights.
