Hi All
I have a 2019 Blazer RS (41,500 miles). It started making a howling type of noise about a year ago when I get around 51 to 53 mph or 61 to 63mph. It wasn’t bad at first but it has gotten very loud and noticeable. I took it to the dealer. They had the car 9 days and think they found that the problem could be in the exhaust pipes, from the exhaust manifold out. Key word is “think”. Of course none of the extended warranty will cover taking all the pipes down and looking for it and they said it would cost thousands to diagnose. they said they looked at all the major systems (Onstar confirms this). I’m at a lost. Has anyone experienced this type of problem? Any ideas? I don’t trust the car anymore and am trying to figure out what to do next.
Thanks for the help.

Could be related to a rubber insulator flap that’s in the front where the air intake louvers are. Look into the front grill at the air intake and then the bottom area. The rubber flap should be under the grill assembly, if not, it can move up at highway speed and the howling noise will be at that speed. There’s a TSB and diagrams that show what I’m talking about.
