Torque steer on V6 FWD?

3917 Views 7 Replies 7 Participants Last post by  Droc2020
Has anyone noticed torque steer on their V6 FWD? Just got mine and noticed it immediately. Not sure if there's something going on with the car, or if it's just the way it is.
Switched from an Equinox FWD and never noticed it there.
Thanks much.

It was very present on our V6 FWD '20...one of the many reasons we switched right into an AWD model.
yes....same here when i nail it...hang on tight....too much power ;)
I experience the same thing with my '20 RS...I like it, fun to drive...no AWD needed in FL though or i would have got it.

True, not everyone needs AWD. My #1 reason for AWD was towing capacity increase. You go from around 1500 to 4000LB...we want a boat!

Yes there is significant torque steer which goes away when you select Sport mode if you have AWD (which I do). Here in NY AWD is mandatory.

It sounds like you're adjusting to the additional power that the Blazer has over the Equinox. Go lighter on the pedal, that's all.

I have noticed it, I feel it's not safe if you hit the gas you better hang on
