The original Continental tires on my 2020 RS Blazer wore out at 17,000 miles, then I broke down on my way to work due to the high pressurized fuel pump and lastly, a bad wheel bearing. Took for ever to get an appointment both times (due to labor shortages) and for parts to come in. Anyone else with these issues? Except for the tires, they were covered under warranty. I now have brand new 21" Pirelli Scorpion tires. I hope I'm done breaking down for awhile.

I'm at 17881mi and so far no issues for me at all. Mine isn't an RS but it is a 2020.

I leased a 2021 Blazer 2LT and at 700 miles started having transmission problems. Had it in the dealership 4 times and the last time they had it for a month and they stated there was a bulletin out about a electrical wire that wasn’t grounded because the frame was primed first and the connection wasn’t good. My blazer does jerk as I accelerate. I’m hoping the tires hold up because with my Buick Envision I had to replace my tires at 20,000 miles. I have documented all the problems with photos.

Nancy: My 2020 Blazer LT, At 500 miles Transmission failed in Dec 2019, 25 mph only and no Reverse. In shop for 39 days due to parts shortage got it back in Jan 2020, GM case and BBB Auto Line case. 20K miles NOW, still JERKS! at 15-25 MPH to accelerate from stop, seems to be when first starting out or cold. But still happens on Hills, and decelerating. It is very annoying and concerning! I need to take to shop again to fix or get Lemon Law activated after over 6 TIMES in shop for sooo many issues!

That's great that you are getting that many miles out of yours. Besides the original Continentals that it came with my RS?, I'm on my 3rd set of Pirelli Scorpions. The 2nd set was put on in February and were shipped to PA from Florida. My 3rd set that I just had mounted came all the way from California. My tires were so worn that I had one blow out. I've been asking the dealer since February to find me 18 inch wheels to replace my 21 inch wheels so it won't be so hard finding affordable tires that won't wear out so fast. The dealer has only managed to find me 2 and has them on hold. I guess the tire problem has to do with the RS version being a sport car and using high performance tires which are a softer rubber for gripping the road while racing around turns. I wish I had known prior to buying the RS, but I had to have the pretty blue color. Lol.

You can look up the tire you have and get the recommended mileage rating for them. The harder the compound on the rubber, the more miles you should get from them. However, that tire will ride rougher because of the hard rubber compound.

Years ago, I purchased a set of Michelin Pilots for a car I had. The tires were rated as an 80k mile tire. They rode so stiffly and I hated them. But hey, they handled very well and lasted forever... lol!
