Not yet....low miles, hope they last longer than that, but I can’t wait until those loud tires are gone either, cabin noise is atrocious
Tire wear on Continentals on RS????
I took my 2020 Blazer RS in for an oil change, tire rotation, and GM check list items. I was surprised as my depth is at 5/32 on my 21" Continental tires. Looks like these tires are only going to make 20,000 to 25,000 miles. Kind of shocking as I am mostly small town or highway driving. Is any else experiencing this? Especially on a RS with Continentals.

I have a 2021 Blazer RS I got in January. Took it on a 4,000 mile road trip and on the way home, ran into a little snow. Not much snow, really just a dusting on the road. I couldn't drive over 45mph without the backend breaking loose. I thought it must be the bigger wheels and wider tires.
By this time Spring was on the way, and I put about 3,500 more miles on without driving any snowy roads. I took it in for the first free oil change and asked them to check the tires. They were already showing unusual wear, just on the rears, fronts looked fine. But the wear wasn't yet a safety issue, so dealer said they would check again at the next oil change. I didn't have much choice except to avoid any snow and hope for more wear by the next oil change. I do not tow anything with the vehicle.
I told the dealer I thought this should be covered under warranty. They told me that most people don't realize that tires put on at the factory actually don't come with any warranty (unlike replacement tires). They also said they couldn't make a claim anyway, because Continental won't do anything for just two tires...must be all four. Sounds like crap to me, but that is what I was told.
Anyhow, I put a couple more thousand on (was at 10,000 now) and took Blazer in again. This time they said the tires were almost down to the point they must be replaced. The dealership worked with Continental and got me two replacement tires. Front tires still showing normal wear. Dealer paid half and Continental absorbed the rest of the cost. No charge to me.

The with poor handling in snow seems to be pretty common. I have a 2019 RS and find that even in four wheel it get tossed around pretty well in slush and even in heavier rain. Not sure if it is the size of the tires, tread of the tires, or possibly some other issue. I have seen others who have swapped tires and seem to be much better, but all the posts that I have seen are from someone who swapped out a size other than the 21’s on my Blazer. At the end of this summer I may change the tires for something with more bite.
Yes. I have those same tires on my 2020 RS. After 6 months of driving and 17,770 miles, I took my car yesterday to have the tires rotated and I was told that my tires were illegal. No wonder I was hydroplaning the last 2 rainstorms. I dismissed it as being worn tires and didn't even check them because of how new they were. And then I was priced new tires. $349/tire. I said, "No way"! I wish they could have been 17 or 18 inch tires. Would be a lot cheaper and a more comfortable ride. I wish the wheels could be changed out but that probably cancel any warranty and possibly screw up all the computerized stuff. There was some posts in another thread about poor handling on slightly snowy roads and the solution was a four wheel alignment, which would also account for poor tire wear on the rears. Apparently the alignment was likely off from the factory.

Just an FYI. A seller on ebay is selling sets of 4 tires Pirelli that fits the RS model 265/45/21 for like $600 delivered. I have bought from this seller before and had great experiences. I might pull the trigger and get them. I have been strongly considering getting a Yukon AT4 but they are impossible to find. It sucks having to buy new tires at 17k miles.

I have a 2019 Blazer RS with 24k miles and my Michelin stock 20in tires are almost bald. After proper rotation at oil changes and they are almost done. My Continentals are shot at 22,000 miles on my 2019 RS. I’m looking at going to Pirellis at about $350 each installed. I’m not about to try to go through another winter with the Continentals even though it’s $500 cheaper to put four Continentals on the car. I replaced my Continentals with a set of Pirrelli‘s. Not cheap but the handling difference is incredible. Feels like a totally different car. As a side not I got about 22,000 driving miles on the Continental and about 6,000 towed miles. We tow the Blazer behind our motorhome.

My 2019 Blazer 4WD with Continental 235 65R18 tires have just 24k miles on them and are worn down to the tire tread wear markers already. They have been rotated at each oil change and most of the driving has been highway miles. I will be putting Cooper Evolution H/T 60k mile tires before the bad weather get to Connecticut. Hopefully they will be better in the snow than the Continental tires from the factory!!
We have a 2021 blazer lt with continental tires 18 inch and at 14 k miles from outside edge to center on all tires worn completely out. We only drive it here around town and only took it on 1 200 mile round trip once. I have been complaining to the Chevy dealership over and over again since I have a 5/100k bumper to bumper warranty with service contract. They have finally deemed there to be a issue and have ordered new tires for it at chevys cost and I currently have an appointment set for those tires to be mounted and balanced and then to check the alignment and all components.I took my 2020 Blazer RS in for an oil change, tire rotation, and GM check list items. What tires did you get to replace the Conti's? I agree that the cabin noise (the source being the shitty tires) is unacceptable.Not yet....low miles, hope they last longer than that, but I can’t wait until those loud tires are gon either, cabin noise is atrocious
