Tire Size

Has anyone ran a 275/45r21 on their stock RS wheels? I was wanting to go a bit bigger as the current tires are not only extremely expensive but also a bit small to me.

Thanks in advance.

I had same question. You gain about 3 tenths of an inch in diameter and 4 tenths in width -- which seems pretty small -- and more importantly save $43 per tire by going slightly larger -- same brand and model tire, just slightly larger. I believe the 21" RS rims are 8.5" wide which meets the low end of rim width for this larger tire. I think it would work fine -- depending on how center of tread wears. I'd like to find someone else who has done it and get feedback .. as I need to get tires in the near future.
I'll do this, too, once I replace my original 21s. I won't go with Continentals. Waiting for someone else to do it and post pictures so I can see if it's the look I'm wanting. Won't do spacers because all that does is push the whole tire out of the wheel well. Don't like that look. I haven't had any issues with my stock 21s and that size is one of the big reasons I got my RS. That tire size is the perfect size, it just needs to be a bit wider for the footprint I want to see on it.
Following this, as I'll be interested, when needing to replace ours.
