Well it looks like to due a recent shipment of OEM wheels from GM, that the stickers/labels clearly identify an upcoming "Blazer" model. The labels state that the Blazer will ride on 235/55R20 size tires, which is the same exact tire size used by the second-generation GMC Acadia with which the Blazer will share its platform. It would be great if Chevy could just make an official announcement so we didn't have to keep speculating.

Those are some big wheels which does indeed place it along the lines of the segment that the Acadia sits in. What do you think winter tire and wheel sizes could be like? Already i'm thinking we might not have to downside on diameter but might have to go for a narrower tire profile.

I'm hoping that the Blazer isn't grossly oversized due to the fact of its similar underpinnings with the Arcadia. Its like automakers haven't forgotten what midsized means, and its evident in crossovers and pickups. 20' tires are pretty massive for a crossover, lets hope that doesn't compromise ride quality.

At least this confirms that their upcoming model is indeed the Blazer. But its not looking like the new model is going to share much in common with the the previous generation. I knew it was going to get a redesign, but I was hoping for something a little more unique.
