Start Stop disable?

From everything I have seen, the new Blazer doesn't have a Start Stop disable button. Some GM vehicles do, some don't. There are aftermarket companies that make Start Stop modules that plug in to disable the start stop system. Has anyone had any experience with the module yet?

Great feature to have but I have always been skeptical about them and concerned about how it might impact my warranty term.
It's probably a good idea to check with your dealer first to see how good or bad of an idea it is.
In that case I guess it depends on who does the install because that can also determine the outcome.
I know people that had bad luck with them taking up local ads offering to install them and just going to any shop they can find that will do it.
For vehicles where its programmed into the system I bet some independent shop can get around it with the right software.
From my experience sometimes it takes a few months for them to get on board with the new stuff as aftermarket companies supply them.
positive feedback from real people on other communities we can do background checks on is a bit reassuring that its a good product

GREAT NEWS...
2020 Blazer owners won't have to worry about as they will be getting an auto stop-start disable switch. Read on:

2020 Chevrolet Blazer To Gain Engine Auto Stop-Start Disable Switch
"One of the biggest criticisms of the all-new Chevrolet Blazer is the inability to disable its automatic engine stop-start feature, causing owners to come up with all sorts of makeshift workarounds. In fact, the same issue has plagued the Blazer’s C1 platform mates – the GMC Acadia and Cadillac XT5. Luckily, that will soon change, as General Motors will add a way to disable the automatic engine shut-off feature for the 2020 Chevrolet Blazer.

According to exclusive information uncovered by GM Authority, the 2020 Chevrolet Blazer will gain a stop-start system override engine control. Coincidentally, the same holds true for the 2020 GMC Acadia and 2020 Cadillac XT5. That sound you hear is a collective sigh of relief among those who really like the Blazer, but detest being forced into having the fuel-saving feature always enabled on the mid-size crossover.

Other notable changes to the 2020 Chevrolet Blazer include the addition of the turbo-charged 2.0L LSY four-cylinder engine (about which we previously reported), three new exterior colors, and various package-level changes. We will report on these changes in more details in a jiffy."

Good tip on over riding start/stop. It would be great if we can consolidate tips like this to a single thread.
