Hi all from Asheville, NC! Been a Chevy truck owner ( currently a 2019 Colorado ZR2 that’s never seen off-road) for over 25 years and admittedly a little nervous switching over to the SUV side, but picking this baby up on Friday!

Any other “ converts” or owner of same specific model? Curious also, how are you liking the Bose audio? I’m thinking of maybe saving some cash on this one and NOT messing with factory. Also, how about using rook rack crossbars or trailering kayaks and inflatable pontoon boats?

Welcome @rnicolai!

Those ZR2's are awesome. Would love to hear about your experience with it. Pictures are always welcome too!

Most people say the Bose premium audio system in the Blazer is much better than in the ZR2.

How did you spec your RS?
Congratulations @rnicolai! What made you switch from the Colorado?

For the roof rack there seems to have been a delay from Chevy in delivering them. But there's aftermarket options to look at too.

Oh I don't know. . . maybe because I really never use it to its capacity - never really serious offloading, or maybe because I turned 50 a couple months ago and think I need something "more mature" - Or maybe because I just like something different every few years LOL! So, might return to the Colorado when they redesign in 2023 😗

Cherry Red, AWD, Sunroof, enhanced convenience & driver confidence packages, black 21" wheels, roof rack, floor liner & cargo liner package. . . Not quite as "bad ass" per se as a ZR2, but not too shabby of a vehicle after all. . .

Regarding the Bose audio system, I think it sounds pretty good. It's not something extraordinary, but I'm quite satisfied. After all, it's just a car audio.
We traded in a gorgeous High Country - in excellent shape but it was driving me nuts - it was so long. Hub didn't mind but it was supposed to be my car. I loved being a passenger but not a driver. I had dressed it up with a hard tonneau. (We have another pickup..........but that one is "special" and doesn't get driven in the winter...reason I wanted the truck to start.)

Ours is the pearl iridescent tricoat, RS, AWD, both packages, sunroof, liners, and the cargo net and cargo cover. In our metro area, the Blazers are flying out of the dealerships, very little stock. We had to wait 3 weeks for this one which the dealership had ordered. I originally wanted the Premiere but there are like none of these within 200 miles (and I double checked this) and I wanted the good AWD which the 2021 Premiere does not have. And the more I looked at the RS, the more I loved the interior and exterior. The iridescent white with the black RS trim, etc. is beautiful.

I always replace speakers and amp them.......not an OEM sound guy.
