Snow Chains or Cables?

Headed up North and worried a little about snow. I have a 2019 AWD RS with 21” tires
. There isn’t much clearance and I heard chains aren’t a good idea. Anyone had luck with cables?

I haven't used cables personally but I know people that have tried them and say they work just as good as chains.

@Blazzin Chains aren't a good idea if your tires will be coming into contact with the pavement at some point. A better all around solution would be studded tires. Haven't heard about cables, where are you getting them from?
