Side warning system 2020 RS

Got message “maintenance side warning system “. Can this be done without going to dealer?

@Cliff are you able to take a picture of the warning message?
I'm not sure if there's a way to diagnose/clear the message but since its safety related, I recommend you do. You can also try a reputable independent shop that specializes in GM vehicles.

i had it wrong. It’s Maintenance “side alert system”. Now the arrow in the mirrors that indicate safe lane change are not working.
