Satin Steel Metallic

The new Tahoe recently dropped the Champagne Silver Metallic color for the Satin Steel Metallic color. Pretty sure the Chevy Blazer will be getting that option too seeing as they probably swapped the paint options because the Steel is more popular than the Champagne.

Is it a color you'd be interested in though? I'll post photos of the colors on other Chevy products below:

Really depends on the car's design because it just makes that SUV look beefier than it really is. Perhaps satin steel metallic may look better on the Blazer with a more angular front end.
The Equinox could probably be the closest thing to look at out of everything I posted above. Overall though, as a color itself, do you like it? I've never been much of a grey type of guy, but if paired with gloss black accents and maybe some black wheels, it could potentially look really nice.
If the Blazer turns out being as sporty as I think it will then it should take on more Camaro-like colors rather than following what most, if not, all Chevy SUV's have had so far. Hyper Blue on the Blazer will be a good look ;)
I have some real high hopes for the Blazer but I really can't see it becoming anything that exciting. Chevys lineup isn't really known for being sporty except for their actual sport cars, the Corvette and the Camaro.

Well the difference here is that Chevy is showing signs of them wanting go take on a sporty direction which the Blazer plays in perfectly to compared to other SUV's they have. Blazer will be the sporty SUV for anyone. The same can't be said about the Trax, size is one issue with it.
Nothing is set in stone yet and we aren't for sure on what we'll see, so high hopes are all I can really hold on to. Yes they have some better designs now and fancier headlights and front ends, but the really need to follow through the whole vehicle with these inside and out to really make an impact

Well some people are suggesting it will compete with the future Ford Bronco and then even the current Toyota FJ. That has me thinking design in line with those could be what Chevy wants to follow. It's all speculation but seems to have good odds.
But if it does end up being a three-row like rumored, it wouldn't be in the same segment as the FJ or the Bronco. Again all speculation, but that's been the majority word I've been hearing popping around it.

heard about that and its a possibility then there's the other possibility in line with what I mentioned, that being something sporty. blazers were always the cool/fun SUV, lets hope they make this generation live up to that, last thing we need them doing is butchering a classic name.
I would like the idea of that. But at that point I would be moving on to another vehicle. But.... considering how they've been butchering classic names... I really don't have my hopes set so high lol

Good decision, definitely can't be too attached to this but hopefully they are listening to people like us that I feel have comments that matter.

What other vehicles would you potentially be moving on to if the Blazer isn't what you expect it to be?
Maybe the Durango as I've heard there is an SRT version of it now and it definitely looks like a complete beast.

Good choice and it will be even better if you don't mind buying used because with the Jeep Trackhawk coming out odds are the used SRT's on the market now will drop even more. ;)
