I recently hit a deer and I would like to install the RS grille on my 2020 Blazer LT but parts warehouses are saying it isn’t compatible. I don’t see how that can be true. I’m sure others have done this?

I haven't personally done this to my vehicle, but I agree with you that I don't see why they would not be compatible. The only two cents I can chip in here is that when I was looking at the official Chevrolet accessories website a few months back, the site gives visitors the option to specify what vehicle you are shopping for, down to the trim level. When I was shopping for my 2021 2LT, the RS grille came back in the results of optional parts. My logic would be if the official GM website has this listed as an option, then I think you should be good to proceed.
I am sure you could change our the grille bar, but I don't know how feasible it would be to install a full RS grille. I would try to find a way to look at them side by side. The RS uses a different front bumper, so there may be some things needed to make them work together. If you do it definitely post pictures and your experience here. I would love to see what it takes and how it turns out.
