what wheels and tires you have ?
Less tire sidewall generally = more noise, less tire to absorb. Just my 2 cents.21" OEM......I looked in the spate well, I have a bunch of Noico left over from my stereo install, I'm gonna line the well with that and maybe pull some rear panels and see whats up.
No problem here and we have the 21" RS wheel upgrade. In fact the car is very quiet inside if that's what you are referring to. And I tried out two before this and no problem with those either - Premiere and RS.Sounds really hollow and tinny......like zero soundproofing. I really like the vehicle, just "sounds" cheap, know what I mean? Loud like my smart car!![]()
We have the sun roof too. And as said, this is probably the quietest car we've owned other than the Lincoln LS we owned years ago which had thicker windows. From what I studied about the Blazer they purposely made it with more noise control.Weird....this thing is very loud to me. Lots of wind/road/tinny sounding noise. Caddy we just traded was much quieter, not even close to my f150 or my daughters Escape. My truck has a bunch of Noico installed because of my stereo I installed. I do have the pano roof, but it all seems to be coming from the rear of vehicle.
Ours is a 2021.We have the sun roof too. And as said, this is probably the quietest car we've owned other than the Lincoln LS we owned years ago which had thicker windows. From what I studied about the Blazer they purposely made it with more noise control.
Have you driven yours at freeway speeds (70-80 mph)? Not ours - that's interesting. We also have the 2021 RS AWD with 21 inch wheels. Our son also bought a Premiere with the 21 inch wheels and they are very pleased with the low level of road noise - mentioned to us right off that it was a large drop in noise from their earlier SUV.
