I have a appt. Next Wed. To remove my resonator. Was wondering if anyone was thinking about getting this done? Here's a pic of the current stock exhaust.

how does it sound? any lights on dash? post up vidoe sound clip would love to hear it
SO......I decided NOT to get the resonator deletion done. my exhaust guy had to do some research because apparently no one has yet to do a exhaust on the new Blazers. what he came up with would cost just under $900!! WAY more then i was willing to pay. I was at $400 tops. He was going to run 2 flow masters to each tail pipe along with some custom pipe bending and end them with a pair of black chrome exhaust tips. Ill just wait till there is some more info out there on how people are getting it done before i pull the trigger. BUT!... i LOVED the black chrome tips idea. they are getting put on this WED. Ill post pics.
sounds great, magnaflow has a catback system in the works right now, he could have put one flowmaster with dual in and single out instead of two but I know 900 is as much or more than a stainless steel cat-back system will cost, he was making a lot of profit off his pipe bending skills LOL
Thats what I was thinking of doing and just welding it inplace
Following this! Can't wait to see what it sounds like. I've been itching to do the exhaust.
See the problem.....the muffler is actually sideways. It screws up all those magnaflo/flomaster super 10 series because there’s a issue with space? At least that’s what I was told? Lol
He wanted to put y pipe before the muffle and 1 of these on each pipe coming off the Y. So I would have 2. I thought that was total overkill. That’s why I’m gonna wait.

I was thinking of putting the flowmaster right after the cats with double in and double out to the tail pipes
Got the black tips done today. I’m happy with them. I noticed I don’t like that out of place silver plastic though lol. I’ll probably plastidip that.

Thanks buddy. Once spring rolls around here in NJ I’m gonna get that kit! Btw....magnaflow got back to me. A muffler is in the development stage for the Blazer.
I’ll buy the magnaflow if shipping to Hawaii isn’t too much lol
Your gonna love the stripes
