Hey there - I read your post and decided to go out to my Blazer in the garage and check out if I could replicate what you're describing. I'm 5'11", so our experiences shouldn't be too far apart. I think I might know what is going on.

First, it was a bit of a chore getting used to the camera view, so I agree, that it can be awkward making the adjustment. The first few times I used it, my eyes could not adjust quickly enough and it caused a little anxiety to say the least. The more I used it though, the better it got. Now, I love using it and the clarity it offers is great. I don't think I've used the normal mirror mode since I purchased mine back in January. I have a 22'. I didn't like it at first and thought I wouldn't be using it much.

Ok, while sitting in your driver's seat, if your mirror adjustment tab underneath the mirror is pushed forward, towards the windshield, then your mirror will have less travel pulling up toward the roof. If your adjustment tab is pulled back toward you, then you'll find the mirror will travel up more toward the roof. I played with it both ways and having the tab pushed toward the glass inhibits the mirror's travel distance enough to hinder the view considerably. You may have already played with that tab, but if you haven't, try it both ways and see if it helps pulling it back toward you. In that position, you'll have quite a bit more travel and that could be an answer.

Post back and let us know what you find.

Yeah, you're right. You may need to take it in and let someone look at it. Are you still under warranty? It may have a defect. In normal mirror mode on mine, I don't have any issue with it positioning correctly. I would still like to know what you find out if you take it in to get it checked out. Curious minds want to know.
