rear armrest trim flap disconnecting

Is anyone else having issues with their rear armrest?

there is a flap that is attached behind the cupholder area that is just a finishing flap to cover the gap and attaches with a jclip

everytime I have a passenger use the armrest that clip keeps popping out.

I had the the dealer look at it and it appears that they used superglue or something similiar to hold it in place. This did not work and now its even harder to reattach it because of all the super glue.

Yes, it doesn't seem to reach. I don't seem to have a "clip". I bought my 2019 used.

Mine is a 19. There should be a flap with what looks like a solid piece of plastic in shape of a v. And a u shaped piece on the actual seat cover

My flap doesn't reach the "v".

I’ve got my dealership getting a new cover in to see if it’s longer. I’ll let you know how it turns out. The only way I can snap my current one in is if I lift armrest up a little which is pointless
