Update, window motor came in and I dropped the vehicle off to have it put in, and have them fix the camera. They called first thing this morning to say they broke my mirror trying to fix the camera, and will have to order one, it may take until Tuesday. They also admitted that they probably fried the camera while probing wires troubleshooting. Now I wonder what shape the wires they probed are in. Did they damage any like my door handle, camera, & mirror?
They refused me a loaner and said they do not do that, then said it was because I didn't buy from their dealership. I explained that I tried and the sales person dropped the ball & didn't return my calls. At that point I said I would print the emails & text messages between me & the sales person from their dealership; then I would like to sit down with the owner of the dealership & my GM senior adviser (handling my case at GM) and discuss a few things. Then I called the general manager of the dealer I bought the vehicle at to discuss what he could do to help his customer.
After about two hours I got a call from my service adviser saying they had arranged a rental car for me.
I am so unhappy with GM/Chevy at this point, just want a different vehicle.
While I was at the dealership one of the other service writers said they have very few mechanical issues with the newer vehicles, just issues with the electronics.
Also, GM owner center is down for me, anyone else (been 2 days)?
