Today I used the pressure washer to remove some bugs from the front of our 2019 RS. About a 3 inch section of the black out on the grill bar peeled off revealing chrome. Has anybody else had this problem? Knock on wood, no other issues with this vehicle in the year we have owned it.

it happened to the same piece on mine, but mine is that monochrome color on the RS? Noticed it was peeling from bugs, made it worst with a pressure washer, took it to the dealer for warranty. Figured if they didn't cover it I would just replace it with white ones. To my surprise that front is 2 pieces. For some reason I thought it was 1. Covered with warranty @ 35,742 miles. almost didn't make it.

One month after I bought the blazer I had some peeling by one of the air vents took it back to the dealership and they replaced it Now 8 months later I noticed it peeling on the grill that’s connected to the bow tie, considered this vehicle cost $45,000 it’s made pretty cheap in my opinion. Is this going to be an ongoing problem? I have an appointment next week with the dealership hopefully they will fix this issue

I just noticed this yesterday. I’ve only had my new 2019 blazer for a year and a half. Wondering if it will be covered?

I did that as well. It’s a bit concerning though. If both sides would’ve had peeling they said they could only fix one at a time per the warranty. And now, if it happens again and I’m out of warranty, have to pay. Seems like it should be a recall.

Took it to the dealer, didn't mention the pressure washer, znd they replaced it under warranty.

2020 Chevy blazer midnight blue and started peeling on the grill I can see the silver now … I’ve only had it two years and a few months ago my ball joints just feel off !!!!! Dealership told me this shouldn’t of happened and last month I took it in for an oil change and they found oil leaking from radiator… everything was fixed except the peeling I’m still waiting on an answer from Gm
