Does anyone else’s 2021 blazers park brake apply on its own?? When I park I shut off my blazer and the next time I get in to go the park brake is applied. Anyone else have this issue?

My 2021 Chevy Blazer does this exact same thing, it is so crazy. Has anyone contacted Chevy or know why this is happening? (I am not parked on an incline so that is not the cause of it)
This test is rather annoying I would say but perhaps Chevy found it necessary.

ALL THE TIME!!! While I get the owners manual states that this will happen "periodically" that is not the case for me. I guess I would need their definition of periodically. Does it mean everyday, multiple times some days then maybe I'll get a 3,4,5 day break, not likely. I love my Blazer but this is frustrating. GM doesn't have a fix either.

My dealer told me, if car senses load, like a little slope it will apply. I call BS cause even on flat ground it apples. I don’t think they really know why it happens .. in my opinion

I agree!! I was tracking it for a few weeks and I was writing down if I was on an incline, slight incline or flat and it didn't matter. It set itself equally on all.

Yes!! I just recently went out of town and as soon as i got into the car to start it my parking break would turn itself on. Or it will do it as i am getting out of the car. It does it when i am on flat ground makes no darn sense. I took it to the dealership and of course cant find anything wrong with it.

Yes and the dealer is just blowing it off, stating that other vehicles also do this. Presently my 2021 Blazer is again in the service department because of transmission problems that I get alerts on but they can’t find a code. It’s been in for this problem 4 times since February.

Mine does this also. I've had it in multiple times and they can't see it turn on so nothing is wrong with it in their eyes

I've been in contact with GM however it's been a couple months since then. As I can't seem to reach the lady anymore 🤔

Yes, so aggravating. Have a 21 also with 17k. Now having rotar problems as well.
For the 2021 blazers there is a software update to correct this issue google or tell your dealership 21-NA-252 that’s the bulletin number.
