I don't think anything is wrong, but I'd like to know what it is.
I am of no help on what is making the noise but my Blazer does not make that noise when unlocking or locking any of the doors.I don't think anything is wrong, but I'd like to know what it is.
So... the fuel system clears the line between the tank and manifold when not running? Interesting. (useful for mechanics, too)Sounds like the fuel pump priming up.
No I believe when you unlock the doors the fuel pump will run so the vehicle starts quicker. Just a guess.So... the fuel system clears the line between the tank and manifold when not running? Interesting. (useful for mechanics, too)

Yeah, it's been making the sound since Day 1. No variations in pitch, tone, or duration. So I think it is a normal operation sound.Black Dragon,
unlike the others I think something is going on within the door! Has it been making this sound since you picked it up? I have a 20 2LT Blazer myself and have owned several other GM vehicle with the same lock and handle assemblies and have never heard what your hearing. I don‘t believe it is a fuel pump I think it is a mechanical movement within the door. Good luck with your investigation and please post the outcome.
