Same....I see it with my polarized glasses....yep....but i only see it when i wear my sunglasses?
I have already gone that route. Opened a Chevy case and after weeks of phone calls with Jose who was my factory rep I was told there wasn’t anything he could do. This is a know problem and there is a letter out to dealerships that there is a problem with cooling the glass too fast causing this issue. His suggestion was to replace the glass at my expense and then if there is a recall later we can explore getting some of my money back. This is totally an unacceptable solution for a factory issue. That glass is defective. If no other Blazers exhibit this on Driver's side window, you can make a Case with Chevy Factory Representative. The info is in back of your Owners Manual. They suggest asking Service to fix it first so there's a record trail.
Bruce TDN,I'm sure you are gona think this comment is rude but since you are leasing this Blazer why is your underwear in wad? You haven't spent 30 to 60K to outright purchase your Blazer like me and others have. Of course with a lease you will return yours as to where the rest of us can't just return ours.
After a bit of research on the net and a few phone calls, the window can be replaced for around $300 or so. (I'm sure it'll cost more pending where you live like CA or NY. I'm in TN) That's less than some are making on monthly payments on their Blazers. If you can afford to lease, and it bothers you that much, replace it yourself.
My point is, it’s a factory defect! GM knowing this is an issue should suck it up and take care of replacing the window.Still, if it bothers you that much, get it replaced. If its gona annoy you for the length of time you have the Blazer, is it not worth it to replace it?
Polarized sunglasses will make it more visible but that isn’t the case with our windows. Is is very bad with the naked eye. Window tint will not make it go away but will make it worse.Pretty much all windows show it for me with sunglasses.......sometimes without, but not many. Will some window tint make it go away?
