New Cherry Red RS

Hey Everyone, new to the forum with my recently purchased 2021 RS in cherry red. I had a couple Camaros back in the day before kids (2011 2LT RS, 2013 SS RS) and have had a Jeep Grand Cherokee for the last few years. Really liked the Blazer when it first came out. Originally wanted black but some of the red pics here convinced me. I ended up looking for black, red, white or bright blue. After one dealer not being able to find any of those colors I found this one at a dealer chose to my home. Really liking it so far. The V6 is great and it handles so much better than the Jeep. Still trying to figure out all the bells and whistles!

I think my favorite thing so far is the automatic locking when you walk away from the car. Hard to get used to not locking it, but super useful!

Very nice color...I'm a sucker for red!

Do you find it being loud inside...from outside/road noise?

Thanks! Never had a red car before but this car carries it well!
No issues so far with road noise, but I haven’t had much time with it (or taken it on the highway yet).

I do have a really annoying rattle coming from the hatch area that I can’t identify. Thought it was my license plate (only had two top screws) but that isn’t it. Need to get back there and figure out what’s going on. It drives me nuts so that’s the only sound I’ve been focused on.
Lift cover and bang on spare, something in mine is making a rattling noise there as well
Really nice! Congrats on your new ride. It’s sharp!
Also recently bought Cherry Tint RS AWD with 21 inch wheels. Love it overall but one concern is the noise level on the freeway. Not sure how much of it is the continental OEM's but I'm surprised how noisy it is but will get used to it.

Make sure the storage compartments under the lid/next to the spare have nothing bouncing around. Or have the dealer tighten up the door latch.

Thanks for the tip. I was able to determine what the issue was - turns out it wasn't the car at all. It was my son's booster seat. I had the back headrests folded down at there was an adjustable part of the seat that was rattling. I put the headrest up and it's gone!

Check the load lock. Make sure it's locked.
