I have only had my 22 two weeks but I was questioning if the side mirrors were dimming when a truck was behind me. The driver side mirror was blinding me which is not something I have experienced on my Traverse or the Cruze I traded in. The dealership currently has it for other reasons but I’ll have to check it once I get it back.

Thanks for the reply. Let me know what they find if you could. I’ve tried contacting the person in charge of my case from gm but can’t get a response from him and the dealership said the part which will be the third still hasn’t showed up.

I called my dealership this morning and asked them to check it since they have it to ensure they are working. I don’t want to have to take it back in if I find them not working. Once they get it back from the body shop they will check it out.

I heard back from the dealership today and there is a wiring issue with the drivers side mirror. They are ordering a new wire harness for it. Sounds like the same issue you experienced. The rearview mirror and passenger side are fine.

Thanks for the reply. Well hopefully they are able to get you the correct harness gm has sent three different harnesses for the door all are missing the wires for the mirror dimming. I’ve tried contacting the person in charge of my case at gm and can’t get him to return my calls.

Update on my mirror situation. Harness they received is missing the wire needed as well. They confirmed my passenger side mirror has the correct wiring and is functional. Only my driver side is missing the wire. They are working to find a harness with the correct wiring and will work with me on the inconvenience of it all. They aren’t sure when they will have the correct part yet since gm doesn’t appear to have the correct part in stock. They are going to need to call around to try to find one.

Same issue my dealer has keep getting harness and they are missing the wires so I could only assume all the 2022 blazers are missing the wire. The passenger mirror actually doesn’t have a dimming function only the driver mirror and rear view mirror.

That would make sense why they said the passenger side was good with the correct wiring and not the driver side.

I’m assuming the same thing based on the conversation with the service manager and him saying they are having a hard time getting the correct harness when they called about it.

Service manager said they will take care of me somehow so we’ll see what they come up with. This isn’t the only issue I’ve had since purchasing it. Trim piece was scratched when they had it for infomant update to fix cameras randomly not showing and to redetail a week after purchase. They had to have the wheel well trim piece repainted. He’s been helping me for years and not my first purchase at this dealership.

Curious any one else on here is having the issue besides us as more are receiving their orders.

Yeah I’m curious too as more people get 22 models. My biggest complaint is the numerous interior rattles I have.

So far thankfully no interior rattles on mine.

Have you got any updates on the part? Have they been able to locate one for your blazer? My dealership hasn’t had any luck and has no updates for me.

I’m sorry I never seen your response for some reason. My dealership actually just got the correct part in and they will be putting it in on Monday. Hopefully by now yours is fixed too.

Yes my dealership received the part a couple weeks ago and have installed it.
