Low beam vs high beam

I wonder if any of you have found a solution to increase the lighting strenght of the Blazer? Low beams are not very strong and high beams doesn’t add much of lightning.

Let me know how it goes and post pictures of it after. I’m interested how it matches up with our drl’s

Sounds interesting...let us know the overall results. Thanks
The low to high beam is a shade in the unit, you will need to adjust the shade up to get more light on low beam. BUT on coming traffic may have an issue from time to time.

I finally was able to install the 6000K bulbs! What a difference, but what a pain in the arse! Very closely matches the DRL's. Can see a lot better with them. Also did a few other upgrades.....Black lug nuts, blacked out side clearance lights, and red caliper covers. Will post pics as soon as I can.

Did you have to take the bumper right off to do them

No. You take the front of the inner fender well off and a bracket that holds the assembly and you can see the cover that is over the bulb. I tried not to take off the bracket, but I couldn't get the cover off to get to the bulb.
The bracket has 8 bolts,if I remember correctly. Not hard, just time consuming!
Yeah I saw that when I did my side markers. Thanks for the info

You can find a brighter hid bulb. I replaced my hid with an led conversion kit. It’s brighter and more of a 6000k white.

I have complained since buying our 2019 that the lights are ineffective. Using high beams only opens the shutter in the lights, still not putting light on the road where you need it. There are no aftermarket (that I have found) fog/driving lights available.

Should really check out my DRL upgrade adapters. They significantly help throw more light at night!

This is not an option for those with the LED upgrade.

Just got mine today... lovem. They are considerably brighter with these upgrades.

Yeah, I was a bit skeptical, but I have to admit these adapters help put more light in front of the car. They help in the corners a bit as well where more light is need on very dark two lane roads. Till GM puts better lighting on the Blazer, these adapters are must have.
I was at my dent and ding guy today getting a little door hickey taken out and I told him about these adapters. I popped my hood and asked him to find them. I even pointed to the area where they were, and he couldn't identify them. I finally showed him where they plugged in and he said, "Wow! They look like factory plugs. I said, exactly.

Thought that was kind of cool.
