Hi all,
I am new here, own a 2020 Blazer and guess what, i just lost my keys.
I called the dealer and they told me to tow the car there and I should expect to pay around $500 for new set of keys..

Any ideas? sounds right to you guys?

Thanks a lot!

You lost both sets of keys?
 Both? that is unfortunate...but $500 sounds like about right for 2 remotes and programming
That actually seems about right. I thought I had screwed up both my keys (while programming a third spare) and started looking into it. From what I read (this is from memory so I might be off) only the dealerships can program and cut a new key if you don't have any keys. If you have 2 keys, you can use the vehicle to program a key and a locksmith can cut it. I did this. If you have only 1 key, some locksmiths with the proper equipment can do the programming and cutting. But the equipment to program is extremely expensive so few mom & pop shops have them.
Programming instructions from the owner’s manual (2020). FYI for anyone who may need it in the future. eBay does have some people selling fobs and key cutting services, but I can’t speak for quality since I haven’t bought any myself.

Hi guys,
Just wanted to post an update as I found a very good website and information that saved me A LOT!!!! OF MONEY. (AND TIME)

So I guess the price shouldnt be that high, also, you can pretty much get the job done for about $350, and even less if you have the time and patience to do some things yourself.
Anyway, here is a GREAT WEB SITE that helped me a lot, highly recommended:

Hope you wont need it!
