Hello Everyone,
I am excited to purchase my first used car and I have found a great deal on a 2016 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray . Unfortunately, it has a salvage title, so I am here to seek advice from the members of this forum. The Price is $39.900

I am wondering if there is a way to view the previous automobile problems or damages. I am head over heels in love with this model and I need to make my purchase by mid-February as I am currently relying on rideshares and it's just not working out for me.

I would really appreciate it if you guys can advise me on whether I should pull the trigger on this deal or negotiate with the seller a little more. I am excited to hear your thoughts and can't wait to take the wheel of my very own Chevy!

Definitely pull a CARFAX if you haven't already. Doesn't mean you'll see anything. If it's not sold through a dealer, you may not see any CARFAX on it. I would also have a very good mechanic look it over for Gremlins. Very nice Corvette, so do everything you can to be sure you're not throwing good money into a bad deal.

If it has a salvage title, look for another one. It has been wrecked with significant damage or been in a flood. The value in the future will be less because of the salvage title. I have purchased a lot of used cars over the years and had good luck. This would be a definite no for me.
