Hi all! I will be a new blazer owner in a couple months and I’m super excited! I wanted one as soon as I saw them, I love the aggressive look of them. Since it is difficult to find a new blazer with the specs I wanted, I ended up ordering one at the dealership with the specs I want. Since I won’t get it until late October or early November it will be a 2022. It will be pearl white with a black roof with a panoramic sunroof. Here’s the specs I ordered:
2022 RS AWD
Pearl iridescent tricoat
21” gloss black aluminum wheels
Driver convenience II package
Enhanced convenience package
Black illuminated bowtie

I can not wait to get it and to post photos of it!!

Black roof?
Yep. Chevy has the 2022 blazers on their website now so you can build them. Mine should look something like this

Sorry for deviating from your order…

Weird. The configurator lists a $395 charge for the Nitro Yellow exterior color. The yellow requires the black roof ($500 option), but the configurator doesn't add the additional $500 to Nitro Yellow. It must be a mistake on the site. I'm sure anyone who orders will get charged $895. I know when I ordered my 2020, the configurator was incorrect on some item pricing.

That's odd.. I'll have to see if I can find someone who's working on that project and let them know there's probably a bug

My 2019 blazer shift to park gear major problem. Look into it first.

I too ordered a 2022 Blazer RS in white with black top on Sep 8th. Really looking forward to it as well. However, I’m not very optimistic with the time frame I was provided for delivery. Based on the current supply chain constraints, I’d be surprised to see it before the end of 1st quarter next year. The factory in Mexico is currently closed for Blazer production and is not expected to reopen until Oct 4th 15th. Chevy Blazer Production Downtime Extended To October 15th

Based on current production delays, the time from order to delivery looks to be over half a year. ARI Fleet Management Lead Time | Production Delays (Select Lead Times, Downtime & Delays, MY 2022, and Chevrolet from the drop-down menu).

In addition, some options are impacted with constraints on availability. looking at my order, there are a few RPO/LPO codes that may further impact it GM TRUCKS (PRODUCTION UPDATES) – Donlen
As suspected, my order is no where near production as my dealer is still awaiting production allocation. I've directly contacted GM via their social media email and they have confirmed my event code has not moved since the order was placed on 09/08/2021. My waiting game continues, so I wonder how others are faring with their orders?

"Thanks for reaching out to our team. We've located your order (Z*****) and can see that your Blazer is at the Event Description 1100 - Preliminary Order Accepted. This status means that your order has been entered into the system and your dealer is waiting for allocation to match up with your place in line so that it can be submitted to GM. We would recommend speaking with your dealership to discuss next steps.

I ordered mine on 9/4/21 and checked the status today and it is showing my 2022 Blazer has been produced. Contacted my dealership and it is awaiting customs. They are expecting it in about 2 weeks. I’m waiting to hear if my order will be missing heated and ventilated seats and heated steering wheel.

I've seen window stickers showing, and some not showing, the missing heated seat and steering wheel options. Perhaps this is related to actual production date. However, the Blazers missing these options do indicate the retrofit once the hardware is available.

I had been seeing that as well. Dealership confirmed mine was build without them and will be retrofit. As long as they follow through and I get the features I’m happy.
Pretty sure the RS models all come with black roofs. Had a Nitro Yellow Metallic RS AWD calling my name for a week when driving by it at the dealership. Decided to take it for a test drive on the way home from work the Thursday before Christmas and was there when they opened the following Monday to buy it. Pretty happy with it so far. Heated steering wheel works but the ventilated heated and cooled seats will be retrofitted when the chips are available hopefully in the spring. Kinda sucks cause it's been in the single digits a couple mornings this past week and there will be more to come. 🥶

Just got my order a couple of days ago (finally!)
It has the heated and ventilated seats, heated rear seats and steering wheel but they do not work yet. It will be retrofitted once the chips are available sometime in the summer.
But other than that, I got everything I wanted! The rims, the glow-tie, the packages, the 360 camera, etc. I knew it would have wireless charging but didn’t realize it would have wireless car-play as well so that’s awesome, and it works great! So far I’m in love 🥰

Just comparing notes here - I ordered my 2022 3LT AWD Blazer on Dec 28, 2021 and just over 4 weeks later I was at event code 3400 with target production week of Jan 31, 2022. Another person ordered a 3LT blazer on the same day at the same dealership and they are also at event code 3400 with a TPW of Feb 7, 2022.

I am wondering how long our vehicles will sit at the plant once produced.

Nice! Looking forward to receiving my RS of the same spec. Dealer allocation is still the primary hold-up for my order. My dealer is a smaller "mom-and-pop" shop than AutoNation, so my wait continues.....
Just reserved a Blazer EV. Appears to be a wonderful vehicle.
