I have seen several posts about rattles and noises coming from their Blazer but I hadn't see any specifically on the armrest. I noticed during my test drive that the armrest would make a vibration noise when I lifted my arm off of it. Does anyone else have a loose and wobbly armrest that compresses under the weight of your arm and then makes a vibration noise when you raise your arm off of it? It's driving me crazy and cheapens the feel of the vehicle. I almost didn't purchase the vehicle because of this. When I showed the sales associate, he responded as if I was nitpicking. I asked the dealership to look at it and fix it before I took the vehicle home. They claim they did but nothing seems to have changed. I feel it's a poor design and I'm concerned there may be no solution to fixing it. Please let me know if anyone had the same issue and if you have been able to get it corrected.
Thanks

I have not had that same issue with my 2019 Blazer, honestly it has been quiet as a mouse. However I also have a 2020 Chevy Traverse and currently have several rattles and vibrations with in it.

I agree they cheapen the feel of the vehicle and even if you are able to quiet them temporarily it is a complete nuisance if they cannot be eliminated.

Obviously you have the most leverage prior to driving the vehicle off of the lot. I would definitely use that leverage while you have it.

Once you drive off they could probably care less if your problem goes away or not. They will probably end up getting paid under warranty to try and repair it while you go through the hoops and headaches.

2019 Blazer 2LT had same issue. I noticed during delivery review & Salesman looked at me like I was being too picky 😬!! I had an extra piece of 1/2 inch soft, tubular weather stripping at home with self-stick backing. I cut an inch length off & stuck it beside the catch. It's black, so doesn't really show. Never heard a peep out of it since, problem solved!
