Hi all
I have a 2019 Blazer Premier and I just bought the illuminated emblem kit. Problem is that there are no videos or instructions on how its installed. Does anyone have information on where to find the instructions? Or if you have done it to your Blazer how did you do it? Does the front fascia have to come off?

Yes, the front fascia must be removed to install.

I had removed the front bumper assy on my 2019 to take the chrome grill surround off and had painted night fall grey like the body. Big job getting it apart.

$120 installed at my dealership. I am an employee, so if you go in a dealership, a fair install price would be no more than 150 for a non employee. Shopchevyparts.com beat even my employee price on the emblem so I ordered it there. Shipped fast as well.

Thanks so much for the info and link. I've noted all the info to be gathered from the link. It seems like a safe assumption that the #395 add-on accessory during a build for this vehicle would include installation. Whether it is installed on the assembly line or at the dealership remains to be seen. I will confirm with my salesman when I place my order that the $395 includes the install and get it in writing, just in case. If not, then I know not to order it with the vehicle and pick it up from the ShopChevyParts.com site.

After removing all bolts, how did you loosen the fascia. I am trying to remove mine to install a Blue-Ox baseplate.

I have noticed everyone saying that you have to remove the front fascia to install this and while that is not wrong it is definitely not the easiest way to do it. You can simply use a flat tipped screwdriver and break the old bow tie off, it cuts the install time down drastically. It maybe took me a total of 10 minutes to do mine.

I believe this is how the dealer changes the gold bow tie to the black. Even with the fascia off it is almost impossible to get the old bow tie off without breaking the plastic holding or locking tabs.

I had to push very hard to get the new emblem to SNAP into place.

i agree i installed mine this same way. Just be really careful with the tabs, Then just fish the harness and route it to the drl

Does anyone have a pic of the pigtail that plugs into the bow tie? And to confirm, the harness assembly plugs into the DRL harness? Any pics are greatly appreciated!

Are the chrome parts easy to insert around the head lights or do you need to remove the nose? I want to buy an RS but they keep saying they don't sell it with Chrome parts.

Just had ours installed by the dealer. A hair over $400 for the bowtie and the installation. Well worth it not to have to take apart a brand new truck!
