Thanks alot for doing this write up, it has been quite helpful. I have a 2023 that I am trying to get parts together for to do an install and I think my radio is going to be in the same location as yours. It is not in my center console. I have a BCM and ANC module in there but no radio. I want to try to look in the area that you posted, but can't figure out how to remove that panel. I can get it started on the bottom of the door seal, towards the back side of the front door, but can't get more than 1 or 2 clips loose without feeling like I am going to break it. Are there some screws I have to remove or is it all clips? If it is just clips are they extremely tight to the point where you feel like something is going to break? So for me, I have the stock stereo with airplay. All the videos I could find of the T harness show bose systems with the amp in the middle console down by the floor. For me my stereo's "brain" was on the passenger side floor board (see image where I marked where it's at)

Another note, I used this website for guidance. The sub fee is kinda high but i just purchased a one day sub on the day I was doing the install. It has factory/dealer level bulletins and shows exactly how to take apart everything in the car. It was invaluable for taking apart the trim pieces and running wires to the back. It's actually how I found where the radio's brain was.
I have removed that panel on multiple vehicles and never had an issue. I hope there is something I am missing because I definitely have to remove that on both sides to run all of my wiring.
Thanks
