Hi all,

Just bought a 2020 RS to replace my 2006 Silverado SS, loved that truck, wish they still made'em. If you look close you can see it behind the Blazer at the dealership. Really love the look of the new Blazer.

Congrats.

I never get tired of seeing the Blazer RS in red.
Its probably for that reason it was used so heavily in all the marketing material, unlike all the other colors!

I said to myself not another red vehicle after my Silverado, but just loved the red & black of the RS.

The Sliverado SS was a great truck for 13+ years (bought it new in 2006), never any major issues. That being said, it started to have a bunch of small stuff go wrong; paint clear blistering, hairline cracks in dash, 6 disc in dash changer stopped working, passenger power seat issues, sunroof issues, third brake light leaking, transmission lines leaking. And finally the BIG one, the transmission started slipping during the 1 - 2 shift (checked fluid cause of leak), but it was just not shifting right.
Oh, and it started throwing a diagnostic code "0420 BANK 0 CAT EFFICIENCY", cause one of the cats was bad and had a piece banging around in it..

So I guess I could have addressed each of these issues, but with the trans appearing to be on its way out I just wanted to get something new.
And DAM THE BLAZER LOOKS GOOD (imo), so here I am with a 2020 RS in the garage looking sharp.
Plus I love all the new features, my SS couldn't even play MP3's and had no aux input.
