I never found anything suitable from the mirror that was switched via ignition. My Escort uses the old 4 conductor phone cord. Ended up tapping off the 12 accessory in the passenger side fuse box and running under the glove box and up the door molding and across back to the mirror area. since the cord is flat it was pretty easy the hide the cord.
