Just swapped the stock chrome grille bar for the black along with the black illuminated bow tie and the black Blazer lettering. Basically slowly turning my 1LT into an off-brand redline. I’ve posted about it before but I’ve got LEDs in the turn signals and swapped the mirror indicators for the smoked sequentials as well.

Now here’s a question: I’m planning on painting the silver trim on the front and rear bumpers. Should I go matte or glossy? I’ve got all glossy on the front so far, so I thought maybe I should carry that through.. But the matte would just blend into the rest of the black cladding.

The door emblems are mounted with double-sided tape. You're probably better off buying a new set, having them painted, and then mounting them. I would imagine replacing the double-sided tape after removing the emblems from the vehicle would be a major pain in the a$$. Whatever route you decide to go, use fishing line or similar to "saw" through the double-sided tape to remove the letters. Some people recommend using a heat gun or WD-40 to soften the tape before cutting through it with the fishing line.
