GM has removed the new Blazer RS that they recently added to Comerica Park before it even saw its first game. It was replaced with a Chevy Traverse amongst all the controversy surrounding the made in Mexico Blazer. Many UAW members are still fighting to keep several different US plants open, hoping to negotiate new labor contracts in Detroit this year.

I doubt there is much that can be done at this point to prevent these plant closings. Moving production to where its cheapest is just the nature of this industry. Though I will agree its disappointing that Honda produces more American models than GM these days.
