Fuel guge issue

So I have a 2020 blazer, only a little over 8000 miles on it absolutely love it till the past few days. My front left light went out and now my fuel gage isn't reading right at all. It got stuck at 3/4 tank I put some gas in because I knew I was almost out now it shows I'm at a half a tank. Anyone had this issue? I'm scared it's more because of the light going out at the same time also.

I had a problem with the fuel gauge a couple of months ago. When I filled the gas tank up, the fuel gauge needle didn't go all the way to F - it stayed on 7/8 instead, and after I started driving, it went up a bit but didn't reach F. After I drove the car for three days, the needle finally went all the way up to F. That's when I took the car to the dealer and showed them the "before" and "after" pictures. They updated the instrument cluster software and told me to "keep an eye on it." So far, it's been working fine. I've also seen a similar story on Facebook, except that to fix the issue they had to replace the fuel tank sending unit at the dealership.

Mine has been doing this lately. Tank was at 1/8 of a tank and I put 18 gallons in it but when I started the car it only reached 3/4 of a tank. Driving it for a couple days since then and the gas gauge actually increased to almost full.

Maybe i need to take it in. Hope it would be something covered under the extended warranty.
