I would love for people to copy/paste the below and fill in, as I'm currently trying to figure out when I want to order if I want a delivery date of April 23, 2020. Since my dealership isn't dealing on special orders, I'm trying to pinpoint a delivery date where I can take advantage of an auto show incentive as well as any other factory incentives in April. I'm not sure if FWD/AWD matters, but it seems like it could, so I'm throwing that down below as well. Thanks!

Order date:
Build date (est.):
Delivery date:
Delivery location:
FWD or AWD?

Other:

Do you feel the recent strike affected your delivery date?

Just a suggestion, figure out what you want and let the dealer go find it. Or you can search nearby dealers for what you are looking for. And when I say nearby I mean 100 miles or so.
Thanks for the suggestion. I do frequently check inventory within 250 miles of me and not one dealer has exactly what I want. Twelve of the 17 custom items for an exact match is what I have to choose from. This is likely the last vehicle I will ever own, so I won't settle for what's on a dealership lot. I custom ordered my last vehicle (2010 Equinox) and liked the experience, other than it taking 2.5 months to get.

Mine (RS AWD) was ordered second week of December. Was built week of 1/20, now in transit. But.....it takes ~30 days for shipment to dealer (Orlando area). I am hopeful for a 3rd week of February delivery. Hope that helps.

That seems like about 10 weeks. That's how long it took for my 2010 Equinox to be built. Thanks, this is helpful. I wonder if the Christmas/New Year's affected these 10 weeks. I'm probably going to bite the bullet February 13-14 and pray for no strikes or parts shortages.

Other than CEO's response above and my experience 10 years ago with an Equinox, not much help with this thread. I reached out to my dealer a few weeks ago to try and get their expertise on past orders and it was determined I needed to place my order this past weekend, so I did.

Order date: 02/01/2020
Build date: 02/25/2020
Delivery date: 03/05/2020
Delivery location: Austin, TX
FWD or AWD? AWD
