Bought my blazer In September 2019 , it has been in the shop twice with electrical or camera problems. First time all my back up and side cameras went out. Took back to dealership GM said to replace all outside cameras because could not figure out problem. Now it.is back in shop with entertainment system completely black nothing works radio, navigation etc. Have.to have new radio installed with NO release.date from GM since it will have to be ordered. After reading comments on this page this seems to be a constant problem with these vehicles. GM needs to recall or keep parts in stock very disappointed!!

recalls have to involve safety so the screen going out isnt likely to qualify. I had my screen replaced and it only took them a few days to get the new component. None of the issues I experienced (freezing screen, locked volume level for 2-3 minutes at a time) came back with the new screen. Apparently its NOT a software problem because downloading the latest software did not fix my issues.

have they been able to figure out this fix for you? I’m have the same issues. the screen has been replaced twice and they have no answers for me. Today they said it was the software update and it’ll be fixed, but I highly doubt it.

Everyone. Look up PIT5790A - it is a worldwide/GM wide bulletin for this issue. There is no fix. My dealership has told me that GM has directed them to not do anything or even take my car in again until they have some solution but right now they do not know what is causing this or how to fix. My issues started in November 2019, this bulletin was posted in November 2020 and there is still no update.
