Do you wish the Blazer was more off-road focused?

With Ford bringing back the Bronco, there's been a lot of posts and articles about it and how Chevy missed the mark with the Blazer. Does anyone wish they also made an off-road version like this rendering? Would anyone consider getting a Bronco?

Honestly no. While I appreciate off-road vehicles like the Jeep Wrangler and the new Ford Bronco I would not have purchased the Blazer if it was off road. What I think is Chevy did fine making the Blazer the sporty SUV with the Camaro-Like styling but they should have taken the TrailBlazer to the Off Road level. I think Chevy is going to try and compete at least a little in the off road area with the Colorado ZR2.

In the end though I am glad that it looks like there will finally be some good competition for Jeep with the upcoming Bronco though. Maybe it will force Chrysler to increase the quality of their vehicles if they do not have Jeep to keep them alive.

Nope, Not at all...I love this body style but I don't think it would be a good fit for and off-road version not to mention the cost would be in the $50k area. Personally I'd rather have a v8 package over an off-road package.

I agree completely that the Trailblazer should've been the off-road version. That's why I was careful in saying they should've made one "along" with the current Blazer. The current Blazer fits a need in Chevy's lineup. In my opinon it's way more appealing than the Traverse or Equinox and is better looking than most SUVs on the market.

Even if Chevy made the Trailblazer look something like this it would make a big difference instead of just making it a smaller Blazer.

Not for me. I'm all about a smooth quiet ride on pavement. Perhaps they should have used the Blazer name on a more off road focused vehicle. But I love the new Blazer as it is.
