After much hope for a Blazer that will live up to what the original was, recent spy shots suggest it will take on a different direction, one i'm still open to. From the looks of it this will be a sporty 4-door CUV, not the FJ rival I was hoping for.

Lots to take away from these spy shots as its wearing little camo, share your thoughts and opinions below:

The Ford Expedition is there but... I can't see myself really getting into a Ford.. that just seems wrong. They still have the Tahoe which essentially was the Blazer initially, so that's gonna be a little interesting to see the differences they make between the two.

Good point on the Tahoe and that was something once used in law enforcement and with other services like Paramedics. Maybe we'll see a "pursuit" version that will be supplied to those same services much like the Tahoe was.

Ah that is very possible. Where I am, paramedics, fire support, and police utilize the Tahoe so maybe they'll get a refresh and change over to these Blazers eventually.

Yes, if that turns out to be true then its even more of a reason to keep this as a longer term vehicle all because of the extra durability and confidence as a consumer that comes of it, if its good for public services like that then maybe the civilian versions will be just as good?

The civilian versions shouldn't be much different that the public service versions?
