Chevy Trailblazer and Tracker to Debut Soon

It looks like the Chevy Trailblazer will arrive sooner than expected.

GM is set to debut both a new Trailblazer and a new Tracker at the Auto Shanghai auto show on April 16th.

What isn't clear yet is if the new Trailblazer will be a version of the current Blazer, or a different model entirely.

The Tracker will be a tiny crossover and is rumored to get a turbocharged 3-cylinder that's smaller than the current 1.4-liter engine that's offered in the vehicle in Asia.

GM isn't saying much about the debuts but has said they will both appeal to younger drivers, an make use of the latest engines, safety and tech.

I love what i'm seeing from American automakers.
Even Ford made some drastic changes to the Escape to a point I might consider getting it for my S/O if the Trax doesn't stack up to my expectations.
With spy photos of the new Trax looking very Blazer-esque its probably better that the new Trailblazer takes a different styling approach. If these are meant to appeal to a younger demographic, that should mean they will be priced accordingly.
One thing I don't like is how much it looks like a Range Rover.

No hate to them but, if its going the direction I think it is (floating roof, headlights tucked under grille, etc.) without enough Chevrolet DNA... then it won't fly with me.

Judge for yourself
