Hi All,


This morning when I turned off the ignition, a software update showed up on the display. This was a build version update for OnStar. Did anyone else get their first software update?

Glad that Chevy decided on OTA updates for the Blazer. Really unnecessary to be making visits to the dealer to do these kinds of software patches in 2019.

Now how about a software upgrade for a disable of the very annoying Stop/Start.

Unfortunately we'll have to wait on an aftermarket bypass module for that, but we've seen them for other GM vehicles. Im guessing they couldn't hit their fuel economy targets without it on the Blazer.

Yep, installed the update on Wednesday. Came as quite a surprise as this is the first GM vehicle I've owned to prompt me about an update.

My 2018 Corvette was first car to get and notify me of updates. On the auto/start disable, I shift nto L, toggle up to 9, and its disabled.

Now how about a software upgrade for a disable of the very annoying Stop/Start.

The way it sounds there won't be for the 2019 Blazer
