Chevy blazer noise

Hi I recently purchased a 2020 Chevy Blazer and since taking ownership when driving at slow speeds a small knocking or scratching noise is appearing when turning the steering wheel at slow speeds. I took the car to the dealership they had It for 2 weeks supposedly inspecting the noise and could not figure out where it’s coming from as purchasing a new vehicle you wouldn’t think you would be stuck in this situation but I guess I am.

the dealership told me to pick up my car saying nothing was done to fix the noise. Has anyone had this problem?

I don’t have a solution for you. But I’ve owned two 2020 blazers and neither have made this noise I would drop it off at the dealer and tell them call me when it’s fixed that noise is loud enough to find.
The location of the noise is hard to tell from the video but the write-up says the cowl area. Can you confirm it's not coming from the wheel itself or the steering column?

Hi Jacobmoi, your post shows 22 days ago. Any update on this noise you captured in a video when turning the steering wheel? Does your Blazer still have this noise?

Pathethic answer from dealer.

I’ve had the same issue. They repaired the entire power steering. Was good for a month or so... it’s back. Did you ever get

I purchased a mine last year and I have taken it to the dealer 5 times and the noise is still there. Also every time I backed out of my driveway the breaks squeak so loud is almost embarrassing.
Never had that noise, If I did I would be a very unhappy 2020 Blazer owner/ driver.

Yep, backing out or first thing in morning or after rain, almost drove me mad. I told Service Advisor they have to do something to fix it. My advisor asked The Service Mgr, she approved the turning of all discs! Issue seems solved for now. Also, I heard there was a recall but Service Dept. said no recall for brakes. I asked what about the Technical Bulletins! Ahhh, yes sound smart and they will listen up!

I had a similar issue, mine was more of a grinding noise, under hard braking, like a bearing w/o grease. Dealer lubed up the pads, helped a little but occasionally does the same thing. For me not a big deal as long as it stops ok which it does.
Yep that's not right my 2019 permire doesn't do that. Neither did the 2020 3LT we had 1st.

Did they figure yours out?
Sounds like the factory did not assemble or tighten something correctly/fully. Or just a suspension noise.
