Attached are pictures of wheel skins and how they can transform your wheels for less than $100.
you simply remove the center caps and snap on the wheel skins. Then reinstall your center caps.

Be sure to report back to this thread with longevity updates. I'm curious with the finish to see if it holds up with brake dust, road debris, chemicals etc. Did they feel sturdy like hubcaps or flimsyish? What is the velcro for exactly? Do they pop on like hub caps?
These snap on over the lug nuts and have a center nut that tightens the hub of the wheel skin. They are heavy weight thick plastic probably about a 1/4 in thick. The wheel skin fits snug around the wheel spokes of your original alloy wheel and are custom fitted to cover the old wheel completely. The Velcro or gorilla duct tape is used to remove your center cap from your alloy wheel so you don’t have to take the lug nuts off and remove wheel to poke out the center cap from behind. the center cap fits tight So the tape or Velcro is stuck to the cap for something to grip and then you quickly jerk it.
Got mine. No mods needed. Im not worried they will fall off on the highway... or while doing fwd burnouts LOL
Looking at getting a set until I can upgrade to some bigger wheels. They look great, but I'm weary about how well they fit and hold up. Do they make any noise going down the road, stand up to going thru a carwash?
They fit great, easy to install my wife put hers on. No nois, snug. Have held up to spray and brush car Wash.
I installed these on my Blazer at the end of June 2020. While they are a huge improvement over stock silver, I'm disappointed with how they've held up. My clear coat is almost gone. Either the clear coat is weak or Meguiars Hot Rims is too harsh and stripped it away. I'd post pictures, but they are covered in road salt at the moment.

I'm interested in how they held up. What's the current status of the wheel skins?
They have been on a year now and look just like new. I installed redline wheel decals and they are bright and clean. Still fit tight and are quiet, no rattles. I only use mother’s wheel products, wheel cleaner and generally wash it once a week

Good as new after spraying some clear coat on them. Mine do rattle, however, and they also don't do so well at being taken off and put back on. I don't think I cracked any of the clips, but it seems they don't hold as tight to the wheels anymore. Attached are one of the covers with a year of wear and then added clearcoat.
