I have not noticed it specifically on left turns but mine is very sensitive if I approach an object and quickly accelerate. It brakes very hard thinking I did not see the object, even though my foot was already on the brake pedal as it applied the AEB. I guess it's better to be safe than sorry?
Although it did allow me to back into a small bush/tree and dent my lift-gate last week while not making a warning sound or applying the AEB.
Yup.... get used to this. Mine will brake pulling into the garage. Mine will brake if there is a car parked along side the road. Mine will brake if there is a car turning left in the left turn lane and I pass them on the right in the forward lane. Mine will brake if a car i'm following turns left or right......
