I am just starting this thread in hopes to see what other people are experiencing as they have ordered their 2023 blazers. I have never ordered a car before and just want here what the process is. I place my order 6/6/22 and I am hoping to have it by the end of September. The estimated first production day for the 2023 model is 8/1/22, so I hope that is true and there are not many pushbacks.

No way of tracking quite, but i was promised more information on it that week of august 8th so will definitely be returning to update on here as soon as i get it!
Just got a call from my dealership. Target production week for my blazer is 8/15. please let me know if your production week was accurate as yours should happen before mine.
Just spoke with my Chevy Rep, and my build date for my 2023 has been scheduled for the week of august 8th. I am hoping for a mid September-late September delivery date.
any new updates?
I ordered a Blazer on June 13th, the 1st day my dealer was able to place the order. I checked with him last week (August 1) and he gave me conflicting info on the status, Looks like... well maybe... the typical salesman talk for I don't really know what's going on with it. Yesterday August 8th I read where North America auto production will cut over 100,000 vehicles from production this week alone due to chip shortages. The article did not break it down by manufacturer or models, let's hope it's not the Blazer. I also checked the gmfamilyfirst website to see if they have updated their site to include the 2023 Blazer and they have not as of yet. Models are normally added to the site when production starts.

I'm hoping that we all get our Blazers sooner than later, can anyone with a build number please update us on the status of your progress?

Sure will! my build date is the week of 8/15, which my dealer said usually that means it will be built on the 15th, they just leave a that week as wiggle room just incase

UPDATE: August 17th. Talked to my salesman today and he told me my Blazer build date was scheduled for the week of Sept 26th, 100 days after I put in my order. He also said it is about a 30-day timeframe from build date to delivery. On a positive note, he said the 2023 Blazer would be fully chipped so all options will be fully functional. The gmfamilyfirst website has also been updated this week to include the 2023 Blazer with 2023 pricing.

That's great to hear! my car is apparently in production this week but have not received an update yet. The chevy website has now been updated as well, so if you go on it, you can configure exactly what the car you ordered should look like. I am kind of disappointed that for the RS trims they did not offer an 21" all black wheel. Mine will be 21" gloss black with aluminum accents, but I plan on having them power coated high gloss black. I can not wait to get it and will make sure to post my pics here.

I have been weekly checking in with my salesman and even been using the chevrolet texting to see if any updated occur. My vehicle has been built, was built the week of the 8th in august, but now there’s no communication and further info regarding shipping. I know the vehicles come from Mexico and I’m currently in TN. Hoping to have it before my planned mobile vacation in early October. If anybody has any ideas about how shipping work please fill me in!
My 2022 took about 5 weeks from Mexico to my dealership in California. It was at the port/customs for 3 weeks here in California before being delivered to the dealership.
Has anyone in this post with a 2023 Blazer ordered actually taken delivery yet?

My dealer placed my order June 13th and last Friday (September 16th) it was at Code 3400. Meaning it is sequenced into the production computer and should be built soon or could be built already but the code not updated to 3800 (build complete) as of yet. I have little confidence as does my salesman in getting it prior to me heading to our winter home in Florida at the end of October. I have already told my salesman if it's not in by then I don't want it, he understands and will return my deposit. He has tried to find one through dealer trades without any sucess.
.
I’m in Nashville my representative just today, told me that it’s ETA is this upcoming Sunday the 25th. I started with a 2022 in February, then changed to a 2023 in june. I’m in the same boat wanting mine before vacation this October. My build date was the week of august 8th. I wouldn’t be surprised if you got a text message from your rep with a 2 week delivery notice soon.

WOW, started February 2022, seven months and a new model year later. Glad to hear your delivery date is close, hope it goes as planned. The timeframe for you was August 8th build date to a September 25th delivery date, that is 7 weeks. That won't work for me even if it was built this week. When I leave for Florida, I'll be there until mid-May. The dealer said they would deliver it to my garage in Michigan when it come in but I'm not going to burn six months of warranty and pay storage insurance for six months before I even see it. I'm not complaining and am ok with the situation, good for GM for having a vehicle in high demand (partially due to chips and part shortages). Post a pic when you get it and thanks for your response.
I know this may not be a popular comment, but the Blazer is not a rig that is in high demand. The issues getting a Blazer, just like any other vehicle, are supply chain issues, economic downfalls, and lack of enthusiasm from the market because folks felt let down based on their expectations of what they hoped the Blazer would be. Chevy did not hit a home run with the Blazer and the market is basically underwhelmed by it. Keep in mind when I say this, I own a 2022 Blazer RS and I love it. I am 59 years old and I had quite a few friends in high school that had Jimmy's and K5s, so I remember the days of those old dinosaurs and how much fun they were. The market demand for the Blazer may very well pick up, and the 2024 EV Blazer (puke) may stir up some excitement.

I personally wasn't looking for one of those dinosaurs when shopping for a crossover. I was looking for a crossover and not an offroad vehicle or utilitarian truck. I wanted something sporty, stylish, and sharp looking, and I believe I found that in this "Blazer". I was actually looking at European crossovers and had my eyes set on a Range Rover or Jaguar F-Pace. However, labor rates on European vehicles are the highest around and I just didn't want that cost of ownership. So, I can honestly say, I settled. I looked at the Ford Bronco and seriously considered that, but it was just too utilitarian. It's a cool-looking rig though. There was nothing else out there that impressed me on the domestic platform until I found the Blazer.

My only concern is, this is my first Chevrolet. I just hope it holds up over the years and performs well. I've been reading horror stories, all here, about people's Blazers underperforming and failing in some way or another. I've had more imports throughout my years than domestic, and I've had very few issues with my past cars. Domestics always give me the chills, so hopefully, I can get through this one with just regular maintenance and little failure due to American engineering. But, nothing is perfect, and every manufacturer has a failure rate number baked into their data. I bought mine back in January and have shy over 4000 miles on it. Just getting ready for my first oil change... lol!

Anyway, I'm not bashing the Blazer, and I really do enjoy mine... so far. I'm also not judging anyone's taste or opinions about their choices. I'm glad this forum is here and I've benefited from it since I joined, so let's clink our mugs and toast to good fortune with this rig down the road.🍺

I ordered my 23 Blazer on Monday! Of course the sales guy estimated 2-10 months to get it...hope it's on the 2 month side of that estimate, lol.
I ordered a 2023 Blazer right before Thanksgiving. The salesman said 6-9 months but was leaning on the 9months side.

I ordered mine 10/24 and on Friday 12/2 the salesguy said it was in the final stages of building!

What trim... color...? I wanted the RS trim with red tintcoat and all the features I could.
3LT RWD in red hot! (but i loooove the red tintcoat!!) Honestly i didnt need leather seats or seat warmers so i think that's helping speed things along!
I placed my order on 10/29/2022 for 2023 RS fully loaded with the blue pointed interior, was told about 6 months wait…as of today 12/7 haven’t heard anything about my order. Hoping I hear by end of year.

Did you mean AWD? You either have a FWD or AWD. there are no RWD Blazers right now. If you have a RWD, then I'm selling mine and getting one... lol!
